I’ve been a longtime Customer of China Star. However tonight I was very disappointed. While the service was excellent my food was very greasy. Especially the honey chicken and the shrimp egg roll. I had to take the food out of the containers and place them on napkins trying to remove the excess grease. That didn’t work and my dinner was ruined. This is very disappointing. However, I am willing to give it another try since it’s under new management according to other reviews.

I have been a loyal customer of China Star for over three years, which makes this experience even more disappointing. Over time, I have noticed a decline in the quality and portions of the food. My most recent order was a medium shrimp fried rice, and it contained only three shrimp in the entire container while the rest was mostly rice. As a long-time customer, I expect consistency and fair portions for the price paid. Unfortunately, the quality and value no longer seem to be what they used to be. I hope management takes customer feedback seriously and works to improve both portion sizes and overall quality. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend this dish and will reconsider future visits.

I’m very disappointed with my recent order. The chicken had an unpleasant odor. I have ordered from here several times before, but the food quality has been disappointing, especially after finding hair in my previous order.

First time here. The food is delicious and the portions are large for the price. However, the service can be a little bit friendlier and more welcoming. It felt rushed, and I felt like the cashier was unwilling to answer some of my questions when the menu was huge and lacking description. Definitely more fast food type. Also, the restaurant is not very clean and there are boxes and chairs all are all over the place. I’d come back, hoping for a better experience.

I had to call 6 times before I spoke to a male manager. Very disappointed and he was screaming and blaming me for other customers issues. All I wanted was utensils and specific condiments. I ordered chicken and broccoli and hot wings. What I received for calling him was a drenched bag full of grease from the hot wings . I know it was deliberately done . This manager was angry at me . For other customers I had to throw all my food away. And since uber/ post mates don’t care what food u received. I had to pay to throw this in the garbage the broccoli and chicken was so sweet. The chicken wings were drenched in grease which was spilled all over the bag. Horrible experience. The owner needs a better manager. Again where is the special in the house rice . Look at the spare ribs for $ 11. 75 I don’t know who took over but this used to be my favorite place now it sucks these are recent pics.
